Die Fälle (Kasus) – The cases

Im Deutschen gibt es vier Fälle (lat.: Kasus): Nominativ, Akkusativ, Dativ und Genitiv. Fälle sind Sets von Formen für Nominalgruppen. Unten siehst du ein Beispiel für die Formen des Dativs. Die Formen passen alle in den Satz „Die Kinder spielen mit …“. → Die Kinder spielen mit dem neuen Fussball / schwarzen Katzen / einem gelben Velo.
German has four cases (kasus in latin): Nominativ, Akkusativ, Dativ, Genitiv. Cases are sets of grammatical forms for noun groups. The example below shows the dative case forms. They all fit into the scentence „Die Kinder spielen mit …“ → The kids play with the new football / black cats / a yellow bicycle.
