Der <strong>Verbstamm<\/strong> ist der Infinitiv <strong>ohne<\/strong> die Endung <strong>-en<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<em><small>To conjugate a verb, you add an ending to the stem. The stem is the infinitive <strong>minus<\/strong> the ending <strong>-en<\/strong>.<\/small><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Beispiele:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Verbstamm von singen: singen<\/li>\n<li>Verbstamm von lachen: lachen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Es gibt f\u00fcr jede Personalform eine Endung. Einige Endungen sind aber ambig (d.h. man ben\u00fctzt sie f\u00fcr verschiedene Formen). Schau dir die Beispiele weiter unten an:<br \/>\n<em><small>Each finite verb has an ending.
